I have groomed dogs and cats for the most part of 22 years. I have worked as a veterinary assistant for both large and companion animals. I received my certification as a Level I Pet Care Technician through the Pet Care Services Association Accreditation Program. I am a member of the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). I support their mission to investigate crimes against animals, prosecute animal cruelty offenders, provide medical care to sick and injured animals, and to find loving homes for the animals they rescue. I have 5 wonderful dogs and 3 cats. They include a Labradoodle, Chihuahua, English Bulldog, Lab Mix, and a Greyhound. I adopted my Greyhound from REGAP (Retired Greyhounds as Pets) in Kansas City. They are a not-for-profit charitable organization that finds forever, loving homes for retired Greyhound racing dogs. My Lab Mix I found wondering the streets, and I couldn’t resist his big brown eyes. I adopted my Labradoodle from the Atchinson Humane Society. My hobbies include woodburning, fishing, camping, and gardening. I truly enjoy getting up every morning to go to work at Homestead Pet Resort & Spa!
